About this journal

The focus of Chinese Journal of Slavic Studies is a field of academic research in which Slavic people, the largest ethnic group in Europe comprises most of its population. The journal provides a first-class academic forum for international scholars interested in Slavic Linguistics, Slavic languages, Slavic culture and sociology. Aiming to be original, academic and multidisciplinary, the journal demonstrates a creative scientific approach and fresh perspective.

This is the first Chinese academic journal in English and Russian dedicated to research in the area of thirteen Slavic countries: Eastern Slavic countries which are Belarus, Russia and Ukraine; Western Slavic countries which are the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia; Southern Slavic countries which are Bosnia, Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. “Китайское славяноведение” is the Russian title of this journal. Its aims to publish most up to date research results of International Slavic experts, to enhance the academic exchange among Slavic scholars, to promote academic development, and to encourage dialogue between different nations.
